WHAT IS…

The Darden Law and Leadership Academy (DLLA) is a 12-week learning academy that provides middle school and high school teens exposure and a unique learning opportunity into various types of legal and law careers along with the leadership skills necessary for success. Additionally, we assist students in preparing for college admissions.

MISSION

• To inspire young people to use education and the law to make positive change in their community.

GOAL

• To provide early exposure and career guidance to teens in the law and legal

  field through a combination of lectures and hands on career workshops. This

  will assist in developing well balanced young men and women as they

  transition from high school into college or into the work force as young adults.

EXPECTATION

• That by creating early exposure for teens into various law and legal careers,

  they will have a greater opportunity for successful attainment, thus having a

  positive impact and helping to shape the laws that govern their communities.

  This will be accomplished by assisting each teen in developing a personalized,

  comprehensive road map to navigate the transition.
